once you press it guide your hand slowly to the mouse
rest your palm on the mouse with your index finger and middle finger situated above the two buttons
as you move the mouse, you will notice a small white arrow on your screen moves according to the movements you make
guide the arrow (we'll call it the "pointer")
towards the "Start" button at the bottom left hand corner of your computer screen
press down the left button on the mouse, using your index finger
this should open up a menu called the "Start Menu"
Near the bottom of this menu, you should see a button reading "All Programs"
Just as you did with the "Start" button, guide the pointer over "All Programs" and press down the left button on the mouse.
Another menu should open up, this one having many more options
