glasses and and high pants do not make you a nerd. not everyone can be one, in fact, i believe that very few people really are nerds - people can fake with clothes, make-up, the physical stuff to be a cool kid - but someone who loves information and knowledge, you can't fake that - and not everyone is able to be diligent to understand the information like a "nerd" -

i feel like people are naturally curious, we just learn to stop asking too many questions very early (you know, like kids - "why? why? why?") For me asking questions was definitely frowned upon, and that kinda sticks with me. its just another one of those "life lessons" that i have to unlearn

sidenote - its really funny how being a nerd is cool now and people are "faking it"... being a nerd ... to be cool... where was this fad in elementary school??
