It's crazy how one day I could feel like its over for me
and all my aspirations were pipe dreams
and the next I could feel like it hasn't even started yet
All it takes is a creative outlet
and a supportive environment to feel like I can do anything
It's unfortunate that we only get to taste that elixir once in a blue moon
so when it strikes, you strike
You strike and obligate yourself to continue striking
in the hopes that you can ride the high out,
produce as much as you can,
and have your obligations to keep you going
until you get the next sip
But until then, Jack Daniel's is a suitable substitute
