When you observe art, you control it. You choose the level at which you accept its arguments. You have a conversation with it but on your terms.
When you connect with art you allow it to penetrate you. You accept it as a part of you and become it. You feel it as if it were a part of you.
When you create art, its quite the opposite. It consumes you. Your actions are nothing more than the means to its existence. There is no choice. There are no questions. There is only the way it is.
